About eQTLbrowser
Welcome to eQTLbrowser. eQTLbrowser is an ongoing project about eQTL that contains introduction, disease-egenes, and tools. The goal of eQTLbrowser is to help researchers understand eQTL from more perspectives, provide comprehensive and detailed assistance, and serve as a guide for subsequent eQTL research.
Disease_egenes
eQTL has many unique roles in disease research, and the discovery of disease-related eQTL combined with GWAS to identify relevant genetic variation loci complements the limitations of GWAS.
At the same time, eQTL can help explain the role of genetic variation loci in disease pathogenesis, showing its function from a genetic perspective.
Tools
eQTL
Expressionquantitative trait locus (eQTL) is a genetic variation using gene expression as a quantitative trait to study the correlation between gene mutations and gene expression. It can reveal the regulatory mechanisms by which specific gene expression is involved in disease progression, helping scientists better understand the function of genetic variation.
